Robert is a brokerage and development specialist who is the managing partner for Collett Retail, the office he opened in 2013. Collett Retail is a division of Collett, a full service commercial real estate firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina serving markets throughout the US for over 30 years.
Robert heads the Collett development team in the Dallas office and is actively involved in projects in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. For over 21 years Robert has worked with national and regional retailers such as Pier 1 Imports, Chico’s, White House Black Market, Francesca’s, Men’s Warehouse, Williams Sonoma and several prominent startup including Onward Reserve. He has provided landlord leasing and advisory services for Northrock Real Estate, Lincoln Property Company, and Trammell Crow Company as well as serving independent landlords and developers.
He created Strategic Retail Advisors (2011-2013) a boutique consulting company for specialty retailers in site selection and transaction negotiations. Robert was founding member of Falcon Realty Advisors (2005-2010) performing comprehensive real estate services for tenant, landlords and developers. Robert began his real estate career with Lincoln Property Company (1998-2004) and continues to work with them on selected projects.
An Uptown Dallas resident, Robert is active in neighborhood and city issues and is passionate about bettering both. He serves as a member of Uptown Dallas, Inc.’s Board of Directors and heads the Marketing Committee. Robert enjoys travel (work and personal) and can be found in the stands at the University of Texas, his alma mater, on any given college football Saturday.
