Sidewall Pelham Road Location Opens Today

Today, Sidewall Pizza Company unveils it's newest location at 3598 Pelham Road.

The third location honors the things for which Sidewall has become known - creative pies, hearty and tasty salads and highly special ice cream flavors. The restaurant will have limited hours today and next week. Sidewall Pelham will serve dinner this evening and then close Saturday and Sunday, and will reopen Monday for dinner service. Plans call for just serving dinner initially, but adding lunch soon, says Andy O'Mara, who co-owns Sidewall with Loren Frant.

In keeping with what has become somewhat of a Sidewall tradition, the new location is housed in what was formerly something completely different. The old DryClean USA building now boasts the signature roll-up door, and indoor-outdoor bar and a large patio (the largest of all three restaurants, according to O'Mara).

In total, the 2,000-square-foot restaurant has seating for about 60 inside, including at a bar. But, once open, an outside patio will add about 40 to 45 more, O'Mara says, making it the largest outside space of the three locations.

Aside from look, Frant and O'Mara have kept their successful model in tact. Guests can expect the same menu from pizzas to ice cream flavor of the day, and a similar, comfortable, relaxed vibe.

Sidewall Pizza Company has locations at 35 S. Main St., Travelers Rest and 99 Cleveland St., Greenville and now, 3598 Pelham Rd., Greenville.
