Tuesday, May 17, 2016 --- Collett is pleased to announce Sid Welch, Senior Property Manager and Will Black, Broker in joining the Charlotte office.

Sid Welch:

Sid Welch, a Charlotte, North Carolina native, comes to Collett with over 27 year’s experience managing regional shopping malls, retail power/community shopping centers, high rise office and industrial properties. He will oversee and manage properties in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Alabama. Welch’s experience also includes managing and supervising tenant build out and construction projects.

Prior to joining Collett, Welch worked with Faison & Associates, The Taubman Company, The Keith Corporation, and CNL Commercial Real Estate. Welch, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering also holds industry designations of RPA, CSM and CPM and as a former Police Officer for the City of Charlotte has an extensive security background. Welch holds Real Estate licenses in NC and SC and has served in numerous community service initiatives through the years. He is currently active with Carolinas BMW MOA and is a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church where he serves as a Trustee and on the Greeting team.


Will Black:

Will Black joined the Collett Brokerage team in May 2016. His primary focus will be the leasing of our North Carolina portfolio and a few properties in South Carolina.

Black has been a commercial real estate broker in North Carolina since 2014, beginning his career with NAI in Raleigh, NC as a tenant representative, and at Mikels & Jones Properties as a leasing representative. He also represented clients in a number of sales transactions throughout his tenure at M&J.
