Wing lovers rejoice, Greenville is getting another Wild Wing Café, according to a representative with the company.

The popular sports bar and home of over 30 varieties of chicken wings will open on Woodruff Road at Magnolia Park later this year, according to Simone Bruderer, director of marketing for Wild Wing Café. The new location will be in addition to the downtown Greenville location, at 15 W. Washington St.

So far, “we’re in the very beginning stages,” Bruderer says, but the company is shooting for opening the new location late this year.

Wild Wing has 39 locations in seven states. The company as a whole has been expanding over the past couple of years, Bruderer says, which has meant opening new locations both in new markets as well as markets where the company already has a presence.

“This location is part of an exciting growth plan for Wild Wing,” Bruderer says. “We're looking forward to opening more locations and serving hot wings, cold beer and good times."
