Another Broken Egg Cafe, an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch franchise celebrated for its charming atmosphere and diversified menu options, announced it will be opening its newest location at 608 A Long Point Rd. on Monday, Nov. 2, boosting the local economy by creating up to 40 new jobs.

Another Broken Egg Cafe shines in the crowded restaurant sector thanks to a universally-appealing menu of 130 fresh and nutritious dishes that includes the likes of Bananas Foster, Huevos Rancheros and six Signature Benedicts, as well as popular lunch offerings ranging from gourmet burgers to Lobster and Shrimp Sliders, and a Healthy Side menu with lighter food options. Driven by attention to detail - everything from its French country décor, hand-made stoneware coffee mugs, warm color schemes, and original artwork - the upscale cafe offers patrons the opportunity to ‘vacation’ in an inviting atmosphere equipped with casual elegance.

Guests can also enjoy breakfast cocktails including house-infused bloody marys, mimosas and more from the full bar, as well as locally brewed beer from Holy City Brewery.

In addition to the award-winning dishes and charming ambiance, Another Broken Egg Cafe uses each grand opening to raise anywhere from $5K - $10K in donations for local charities. As the first Mount Pleasant location settles into the community, it looks forward to partnering with two local organizations prior to the official grand opening, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) on Friday, Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. until noon and the Low Country Firefighters Support Team on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. There is no charge for the public to attend these separate fundraising events and donations can be made via cash or check and will be accepted for the featured nonprofits. Those wishing to support the ABEC Mount Pleasant pre-opening events are encouraged to call 843-352-9833 for reservations as seating is limited.

Bringing the ultimate dose of Southern hospitality to Mount Pleasant, the newest Another Broken Egg Cafe is owned and operated by Double R Restaurant Group, led by President Stuart Ottinger, who started his restaurant career as a co-founder of Nashville-based fast casual chicken concept, Otter’s Chicken. Now, Ottinger looks forward to spreading the great taste of Another Broken Egg Cafe throughout the South Carolina region. As the company’s largest franchisee, with a current portfolio of 23 cafes throughout the Southeast, Double R looks forward to expanding into the South Carolina market.

“Mount Pleasant residents will quickly discover that our southern-inspired cuisine and vacation-like atmosphere is truly a one-of-a-kind experience,” said Ottinger. “Another Broken Egg Cafe is unlike any other restaurant in the region, and we are confident that it will become an instant favorite in the community, as well as the regional standard for quality breakfast, brunch and lunch throughout South Carolina.”

The 3,479 square foot Mount Pleasant location comfortably seats up to 124 guests and will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information about Another Broken Egg Cafe, call 843-352-9833 or visit www.anotherbrokenegg.com.
