The Ohio-based Poke Bros. will open the second of four planned Upstate locations this week. An Easley restaurant, located at 125 Rolling Hills Cirle, will hold a grand opening Feb. 1. Guests are invited to come and join in the opening excitement beginning at 11 a.m.

The Easley location is the second Poke Bros. to be opened by the restaurant company, which was developed by three partners — Scott McCarthy, Anthony Wellman and Xuegong Chen. The first location opened at 3935 Pelham Rd. in Greenville in October.

Other locations are planned for 1143 Woodruff Road, Greenville and 654 Fairview Road, Simpsonville.

Poke is a traditional Hawaiian street food which combines seasoned raw fish, rice and tasty sauces for a healthy and complete meal. Poke Bros. takes the concept further, allowing folks to customize their own poke bowls with a base of brown or white rice or salad greens, a myriad of veggies and sauces and both cooked and raw seafood, as well as chicken or tofu.

The fast casual restaurant has eight locations already open in Ohio, Delaware and South Carolina.

Poke Bros. Easley will hold a grand opening at 11 a.m., Feb. 1 at 125 Rolling Hills Circle, Easley.
